You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I used it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on par with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only drawback is that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its cost.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. robot vacuum best was due to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's most significant highlight is its multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dry the mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tried The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris pickup performance on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's numerous high-end features, it still requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will need to be changed periodically.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could buy but its cost and constant maintenance will make it seem more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and clean dirt off your floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. It's also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to rinse off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot and is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while taking in dirt. Dry debris is removed using the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro is able to dump mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked in by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets, the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, if you prefer to have the option of using your own cleaner. However, if you do opt for this feature you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit you to use your own cleaning products.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it got stuck a few times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests, but this may be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a affordable prices.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers a variety of options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to find the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning in a neat way. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it might not be able to detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels.
This machine has one major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up", at the end of each session. This lets you use the mopping function of the vacuum to remove the last remnants of dust and debris that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
